Put off by bitter green tea? Us too. Our loose leaf Green Tea made with rich Yunnan leaves is a subtle and savoury blend. Loads of flavour and minimal bitterness. It's gentle, grassy & smooth.
Grassy & Hoppy
Try our Yunnan Green with goat’s cheese – the creamier, the better. It really brings out the grassy notes.

85° Brew Temperature
3-4 Minutes
The key to brewing loose leaf green tea is in the water temperature. Too cool and it'll under brew. But pour boiling water straight on and you risk a bitter cup. 80-85 degrees is perfect.

Brewing Tip

Keep it simple. Add a quarter cold water to your teapot first and then top up with boiling water.

This is so much more than green tea from a teabag! Fresher and tastier. Well worth a brew.

Slightly too bitter for my taste.

I am a new convert to green tea, but have found this Yunnan Green tea slightly bitter for my taste. How can I reduce this bitterness in future?

    Hi Nick,

The best temp to brew is around 85 degrees, so if you try adding a splash of cold water before adding your hot water that will get rid of any of the bitterness from the Green tea!

Let me know if you give that a go, I would love to hear your thoughts :)

    Thanks,
    Mariam
