Earl Grey Tea

A fragrant and citrusy tea to keep you refreshed all day. Ceylon black tea with bergamot oil, orange peel and calendula petals. Our Earl Grey tastes less like hot perfume, and more like proper tea. No flavour granules. No dust. Just rolled, whole leaves.
Light & Fragrant
We love Earl Grey with a thick vanilla cheesecake. It emphasises the citrus notes beautifully. Perfection.

How To Brew

How to Brew

1 Scoop
100° Boiling Water
3-5 Minutes
400ml is perfect for 5g of loose leaf tea. If you're using a tea bag, 300ml is bang on. Brewing this one is all about finding just how you like it. Try brewing for 3-4 minutes black, or 4-5 minutes with milk.

Brewing Tip

Your tea will start tasting bitter if it’s left to brew for too long so if you fancy a stronger cup, add some more tea leaves.

    Earl Grey Tea Bags

The tea from these tea bags is lovely. much nicer than other versions I have tried. It's really worth leaving the bag to brew for the full four mintes.

Earl Grey - always a favourite

Have been buying from Brew Tea for years (since 2017, in fact). Loose-leaf Earl Grey is my favourite, but at various times I've dipped into Darjeeling, Ceylon and English Breakfast (all as tea bags, all equally delicious) and Lapsang (loose-leaf, also excellent, and genuine - unlike the recently relaunched 'Smoky' from another, higher-profile brand). The EGT is particularly good because - again, unlike some other higher-profile brands and probably most supermarket offerings - I'm pretty sure Brew Tea uses real bergamot peel and oil rather than synthetic flavourings (to which I'm mildly intolerant). So unless that changes, I'll keep coming back.

Great feedback, thank you Tom and we really appreciate your loyalty.

Earl Grey is a tricky blend to keep consistent but we always use natural ingredients!
