When Phil and Aideen found out that you could easily spot the International Space Station without a telescope, they had to see for themselves. And when they’d seen it, they had to tell Phil’s mum. Not wanting to face the elements, Barbara looked out for the ISS from the comfort of her bed.

She reckoned she’d seen it, the red and green flashing lights being a dead giveaway.

She most definitely saw a plane.
