Lemon & Lime Iced Tea

4.5
Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars

Our original "Cold Brew Lemonade". It's been around since 2015, and became an instant hit - Assam black tea, with lemon, lime and vanilla for the iced tea equivalent of go faster stripes. As an overnight cold brew, you get a clean, fresh citrus hit. Make it hot and you've got the best possible base for that archetypal strong, sweet iced tea.

How To Brew

How to Brew

3 Scoop
100° Brew Temperature
5+ Minutes
3 scoops (15g) of loose leaf or 1 pitcher tea bags is perfect. This makes 1 litre of strong tea to customise. After brewing, dilute 1 part water to 1 part tea. Sweeten & zest up to taste and add ice. Prepping in advance? Swap the 1 litre of boiling water for 1 litre of cold water and leave your tea to brew overnight in the fridge for 8-12 hours. Strain/remove the bag. Sweeten if you prefer and add ice & citrus slices.

Brewing Tip

We make this in dispensers each summer at Tea HQ, keeping it simple with lemon slices, lemon juice and sugar. Want extra zing? Increase your citrus and sugar in equal measure until you get the right hit.

    Ideal summer drink

A very refreshing cold brew for summer. Exceptional during a heatwave! I like it in a big glass with ice and slices of lime and lemon while chilling in the garden.

    Uplifting Reviving Fresh

A perfect brew for uplifting the senses after activity I find it refreshing and uplifting after my early morning walk with my doggies Zesty lemony yet full bodied to fortify which is unusual in an iced tea I brew mine in the evening for 5 minutes with hot filtered water pour in a 2 litre pitcher add half a lemon thinly sliced then fill up with cool filtered water to top Pop in the fridge overnight with a couple of 500 mil fine glasses to chill overnight and as the morning heat rises after morning exercise A large cold glass of Lime and Lemon refreshes hydrates and satisfies

    Perfect refreshing summer drink

Crisp and refreshing, we've been cold brewing these in the fridge for 12 hours and serving over ice. It's not too strong either, taste wise. Delicious.
