How To Brew

How to Brew

3 Scoop
85° Boiling Water
5+ Minutes
3 scoops (15g) of loose leaf or 1 pitcher tea bags is perfect. This makes 1 litre of strong tea to customise. After brewing, dilute 1 part water to 1 part tea. Sweeten & zest up to taste and add ice. Prepping in advance? Swap the 1 litre of boiling water for 1 litre of cold water and leave your tea to brew overnight in the fridge for 8-12 hours. Strain/remove the bag. Sweeten if you prefer and add ice & lemon slices.

Brewing Tip

Check that all-important brewing temperature (85°, not boiling) especially if you're worried about finding this too astringent. Want it fresher? A squeeze of lemon willdo the trick. For a little extra rosiness add a sprinkle of dried rose petals.

    Interesting herbal

Love the idea, fab herbal smell & floral look of this & it was refreshing over ice on a hot day however we also found it quite bitter on first testing via the cold brew method & don’t want to start adding sweeteners with extra calories! Will persevere but maybe this one’s just not for us sadly… perhaps will also try the raspberry version??

Thanks so much for giving it a try Andrea! 😊 The Raspberry version is definitely a great shout if you're after something a little fruitier. If you do give it a try, I'd love to hear how the two compare for you!

    Happy brewing,

    Hey Tim,

I am delighted it went down so well. I have to ask... did you treat yourself to a box as well, or was this one entirely selfless? 😉

    Cheers,

    Hi Sarah,

Not every blend is everyone's cup of tea, and that's absolutely fine. We do love hearing how the rest of your family got creative with it though!

Out of curiosity, what was it about the Rose & Elderflower that didn't quite work for you? I'd be really interested to know, and I might even be able to recommend another blend that's a better fit for your taste :-)

    Cheers,
    Giuliana
