How To Brew

How to Brew

3 Scoop
85° Brew Temperature
5+ Minutes
3 scoops (15g) of loose leaf or 1 pitcher tea bags is perfect. This makes 1 litre of strong tea to customise. After brewing, dilute 1 part water to 1 part tea. Sweeten & zest up to taste and add ice. Prepping in advance? Swap the 1 litre of boiling water for 1 litre of cold water and leave your tea to brew overnight in the fridge for 8-12 hours. Strain/remove the bag. Sweeten if you prefer and add ice & lemon slices.

Brewing Tip

Check that all-important brewing temperature (85°, not boiling) especially if you're worried about finding this too astringent. Want it fresher? A squeeze of lemon willdo the trick. For a little extra rosiness add a sprinkle of dried rose petals.

    Proper iced tea.

I love the flavour of elderflower, but found this to be a little too subtle. I’m going to brew my next batch for a minute longer and add less cold water, as it definitely has potential. Someone suggested adding soda water instead of water, which sounds good, and I wondered about sparkling elderflower. I made some of the initial brew into ice cubes, so I’ll have a head start next time the sun comes out.

    Hi Dez,

Thanks for giving our Elderflower & Rose Iced Tea a go! I love that you're experimenting with it to get the perfect flavour for your taste buds. If you haven't already try adding a bit of elderflower cordial to the iced tea, it really does add a nice touch to it :)

    Happy brewing,

    Light and floral

A fabulous summer tea really delicious floral flavours

Better if not brewed for too long. I’ve tried it brewed as a cold tea too. Needs the addition of water.

    Delicious as hot tea

We haven’t brewed this as ice tea yet, simply because it is delicious as a hot tea. Lovely flavours whilst the excellent quality of the green tea shines through.

I think I have been convinced to try the Elderflower and Rose tea as a hot drink now!

You will have to try it iced and let me know which way is better :)

    Thanks Robert

    Wonderful flavour

Just received the Elderflower and Rose iced tea which love. Can't wait to try the other two flavours as I still haven't got round to trying them but no doubt they will be just as good 😀
