Our Story
We are flying the flag for tea drinkers everywhere, challenging the status quo and doing right by every cup, one drinker at a time. We are redefining what "good" tea can be, making it more inclusive, demystifying it, and raising the bar. That means quality, tasty cups for all, no matter what you're brewing.
How it all began
Tea HQ was set up by Aideen and Phil in 2012, with one aim - to get beautiful, rolled whole leaves to as many tea drinkers as possible. Back then we were armed with a handful of blends, a box of sharpies, a Nissan Cube and this idea that these chunky leaves made a better looking and tasting cup of tea - and from the outset, we were delighted to find that some very discerning Drinkers seemed to agree with us. Fast forward a few years and millions of pots of tea later, a few things have changed, but our dedication to rolled whole leaves is as earnest now as it was then.

All of our blends made with a tea leaf base use rolled whole leaves. No dust, ever. You can see exactly what you are drinking. The leaves are nice and big for a punchy flavour, and brewing them properly means there is no bitterness.
Good Tea, Good Business.
Good tea alone isn't enough; as a B Corp, we believe in using business as a force for good. We carefully manage our impact from leaf to pot through traceable, transparent tea sourcing and plastic-free packaging.
Weights & Measures
All done by hand, our Weights & Measures team does it all. They have an unsurpassed eye for detail. Whether it is a consistently perfect tea bag weight or a gloriously straight heat seal, nothing makes it through if it is not just right.
