Ceylon Tea

Rated 4.9 out of 5 stars

Smooth, sweet and slightly rich, Ceylon is a great all-rounder. We use it in some of our other blends because it's such a fresh, versatile leaf. But here it has a chance to shine on its own - expect a light, but punchy cup.
Chocolatey & Sweet
Try our Ceylon with a blackcurrant tart. It's a killer combination of sweet, sharp and delicious.

How To Brew

How to Brew

1 Scoop
100° Boiling Water
3-5 Minutes
400ml is perfect for 5g of loose leaf tea. If you're using a tea bag, 300ml is bang on.

Brewing Tip

Your tea will start tasting bitter if it’s left to brew for too long so if you fancy a stronger cup, add some more tea leaves.

Ceylon is a great all-rounder. We use it in some of our blends because it's such a fresh, versatile leaf, but here it has a chance to shine on its own. It's smooth and slightly rich with some seriously sweet chocolatey notes – especially great with dessert. Try it black first.

    Great Ceylon tea

Have loved Ceylon tea for a long time - can get very expensive for a great brew (Adam’s Peak) but this is great tea and great value

    Hi Christine,

It's great to hear you are coming on the tea tasting journey with us. Ceylon is a great leaf and makes up the lighter part of our English Breakfast blend. It's also a lovely tea in its own right and has a great story behind it.

    Thank you

    The best brew!

I ordered the Ceylon alongside the English Breakfast Assam Kenyan and Decaf to have the full feel and flavour of the black teas offered. What a difference full rolled leaves make! The Ceylon is lighter than the Assam for example but very refreshing during these hot Summer days a splash of milk is my choice of accompaniment and it hits the spot every time - like the rest of my choices. Highly recommend
