Peach & Orange Iced Tea

Peach iced tea. As old an invention as the telephone. And for good reason - sweet, juicy peach and sturdy black tea is quite the connection. Say ahoy-hoy to a blend of Ceylon, peach, orange & lemon peel for a bit of brightness, and maximum peach potency.

How To Brew

How to Brew

3 Scoop
100° Boiling Water
5+ Minutes
3 scoops (15g) of loose leaf or 1 pitcher tea bags is perfect. This makes 1 litre of strong tea to customise. After brewing, dilute 1 part water to 1 part tea. Sweeten & zest up to taste and add ice. Prepping in advance? Swap the 1 litre of boiling water for 1 litre of cold water and leave your tea to brew overnight in the fridge for 8-12 hours. Strain/remove the bag. Sweeten if you prefer and add ice & orange slices.

Brewing Tip

The liquorice root in this blend gives ita bit of a sweet kick when cold brewed, so taste test before you add anything extra to see if you like it as is. Having a party? Grab a pitcher, addherbs & orange slices and you've got a showstopper.

    Just about to get there...

i tried both cold and hot brew. I just tipped one scoop into a 700ml of water and left it overnight - it was light and refreshing. the weather is cooler these days so iced tea not so much. the hot brew - I may over brewed it. I tried with 3min, 5 min but not quite there yet. So I dont think it is the tea but rather I have not perfected the technique.

    Disappointed

Smells great but no flavour and that’s not just my opinion, several family members have tried it and think the same. Have tried hot and cold brews but not impressed with either. I especially thought the overnight cold brew would blow my socks off, but it was like drinking coloured flavourless water. Will not buy again.

For those days when you seem to need to glug something thirst quenching the entire day long

The heat wave made the idea of home brewed peach ice tea just the ticket, so I treated myself.

Commercial ice teas have sugar, whereas this is Brew Tea's finest black tea plus dried peach bits. No sugar needed.

It's tasty and quite refreshing, especially for those days when you seem to need to glug something thirst quenching the entire day long. I followed the simple brewing and serving suggestions, and they worked.

Why only 4 stars? An extra hit of peach would have added another star. Just sayin'...

We love that it's been your ultimate heatwave companion Jacky!

Point taken on the peach punch! If you want to unlock that 5th star at home, try cold-brewing it in the fridge overnight for a deeper flavor, or throw a few fresh peach slices right into your pitcher to really get that peach flavour coming through :)

    Happy brewing
