Keemun Tea

This is one of those blends that really proves there is no definitive 'tea' taste. This is black tea without the usual connotations - it's light, smooth, with hints of smoke and a touch of caramel. Our Keemun is most definitely best enjoyed black, but a light splash of milk with also work.
Smooth & Subtle
Perfectly paired with some crusty seeded bread for some complimentary nuttiness.

100° Boiling Water
3-5 Minutes
400ml is perfect for 5g of loose leaf tea. If you're using a tea bag, 300ml is bang on.

Brewing Tip

Keemun won't go bitter like other black teas as it's a completely different brewing experience, and it should most definitely be tried black first.

    Twin to Darjeeling

Light and delicate, and definitely tasty, but if I'm honest, I struggle to tell the difference between this one and the Darjeeling. Probably my tea-tasting-buds just aren't sufficiently refined!

Thanks for giving our Keemun Tea a try Jason :)

They are both really lovely, delicate teas so I can understand that the differences are quite subtle. I'm just glad you found the Keemun tasty and enjoyed it!

    Happy brewing,

    Beautiful relaxation

It was the first time I had tried this tea but thought I'd give it a go as all the other teas I but from you have been perfect.

I love a tea with a hint of smoke, so this tea really hit the mark. Subtle and not too strong, this was perfect for an afternoon brew. I can highly recommend it.

    Hi Toby,

We love to hear when our drinkers have joined us on a learning journey. This was a new one for me but love the story and history behind the origins.

    Good stuff

Bought Keemun and Rwandan. Particularly interested in the latter for comparison with the Kenyan, which was full-bodied. A bit less insistent, which I like. Keemun, as a Chinese tea, is different again. I’d drink less of it and mostly black. Very happy with my choices. Will be stocking up again in the near future.

Absolutely rapturous about the Moroccan mint tea. Much stronger than bags. A highly refreshing start to the day!

    A Nice Addition

A nice tea to add to the collection, definitely on the lighter side, similar to Kenyan and Darjeeling. Going to have to expand my Brew Tea storage area when a tin (hopefully) becomes available!

It's great to see your Brew Tea collection is growing Lewis! It is on the lighter side, so it's great for when you want something a little lighter and smoother :)

    Lovely afternoon pick-me-up

A very pleasant Chinese black tea. It’s light and smooth with no astringency, so definitely best enjoyed without milk. I find that the leaves take a second steep very well. I hope there will be a matching tin released for my collection!
