Ceylon Tea

Smooth, sweet and slightly rich, Ceylon is a great all-rounder. We use it in some of our other blends because it's such a fresh, versatile leaf. But here it has a chance to shine on its own - expect a light, but punchy cup.
Chocolatey & Sweet
Try our Ceylon with a blackcurrant tart. It's a killer combination of sweet, sharp and delicious.

400ml is perfect for 5g of loose leaf tea. If you're using a tea bag, 300ml is bang on.

Brewing Tip

Your tea will start tasting bitter if it’s left to brew for too long so if you fancy a stronger cup, add some more tea leaves.

Ceylon is a great all-rounder. We use it in some of our blends because it's such a fresh, versatile leaf, but here it has a chance to shine on its own. It's smooth and slightly rich with some seriously sweet chocolatey notes – especially great with dessert. Try it black first.

    Great tea.

Really enjoyed this tea. I sometimes mix it with the breakfast tea, for a change.

Ooh mixing it with the English Breakfast is a great idea! Especially if you love an English Breakfast but want something a little lighter :)

Love to hear you've been enjoying the Ceylon Gill.

    Thanks,
    Mariam

    Excellent tea

High quality Ceylon. It's a good mid-range between something more potent like Assam and the more delicate and floral like Darjeeling. I like this to drink as I relax in the evening. It's much better than you'll get from standard brands in the supermarket.

    Hi Robert,

It's great to hear you have been enjoying the Ceylon tea in your evenings! Its a rather smooth and fresh blend, so it really makes for a good cup when you want something a little light but still punchy.

    Happy brewing :)

    Flavoursome and fruity

My first try of this tea. Very impressed with the flavour, quite robust but fruity. Will be having it again as a regular tea.

    Great tea

I live this tea from the old Ceylon.

Great on it's own or blended with Assam or Kenyan or even with a splash of smoky lapsang

Oooh I thought of blending it with any of our other single origins, but now I feel like I should!

Thank you for the lovely feedback on the Ceylon James, keep on enjoying the tea :)

    Thanks,
