CUTTING OUT THE MIDDLEMAN.

For those of you who don't know. We've got a bit of a DIY streak in us. It's gotten us into trouble before, but it goes a long way when it comes to making tea awesome. By cutting out the middleman and doing as much in-house as possible, we get to see it all.

X-RAY VISION. WELL, NOT QUITE.

Our first tea bag machine in all his glory

Whether we do it by sourcing directly from suppliers, formulating our own blends or by moving T-Rex and Brachiosaurus into Tea HQ to make our own tea bags, we take every opportunity we can to get our hands dirty.

It might be more convenient to get somebody else to do it for you, but when you're relentlessly stubborn about doing things properly, sometimes the only option is to do it yourselves.

When we were really small, we had to get another company to make our teabags for us. When they told us that they couldn't put the beastly amounts of tea that we wanted in our teabags through their machine, we took matters into our own hands and bought T-Rex. It wasn't cheap, and it definitely wasn't easy, but it was the right thing to do.

Look at us now, we're cramming more tea than any other tea company into our teabags, and there's still no sign of any {overly disastrous} machine failures. Boom!
